The environment we live in is being degraded through the advent of technology and the rise in population. Environmental issues related to climate change, power generation, nuclear energy, resource depletion, air and water pollution and waste management are only some of the issues we need to deal with as we move further into the 21st century.
It is therefore imperative that we constantly monitor and are able to measure the environmental impact of our actions. If you cannot measure, you cannot improve.
At IEC, we believe in doing the right thing for the right reasons. Through my years of experience in being a user and with the help of our advisory panel of leading scientists across the world, we are in a unique position to be able to offer high quality advice on all aspects of environmental management and conservation.

About Dr. Vijay Kumar Panday
Dr. V.K. Panday started International Environment Consulting in December 1993 after completing his tenure at the Forschungs Zentrum (Research Centre), Juelich in Germany. Prior to this, Dr. Panday spent over 25 years with the Department of Atomic Energy in Bombay working in the area of advanced analytical chemistry and was involved in the development of several novel techniques in chemical analysis. In 1969, he worked at the CSIRO Division of Chemical Physics in Australia under the guidance of Sir Alan Walsh, founder of atomic absorption spectrometry.
Dr. Panday earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from the University of Delhi (1962), a Masters degree in Physical Chemistry (1967) and a PhD in Analytical Chemistry (1974), both from the University of Mumbai.
